travel with purpose

Going on safari isn’t just a journey – it’s a direct investment in conservation.

A portion of every dollar spent on safari supports vital wildlife protection, anti-poaching efforts, and habitat preservation.
Safari lodges and reserves fund community initiatives, empowering local people through education, healthcare, and sustainable employment.
We are honored that our safaris contribute to conservation on a deep level. By traveling with us, you are helping to protect Africa’s iconic wildlife and uplift the communities that safeguard them.

Meet “gogo thandi”
Our deep-rooted commitment to conservation comes from firsthand experience, both in the field and through the incredible efforts of those closest to us.
Pictured in blue is Alastair’s father, a renowned plastic surgeon who spearheaded the first skin graft on a rhino (Thandi) who was left for dead after her horn was taken. Her lengthy recovery was made possible by advanced science, patience, and – more than anything – extremely passionate individuals.
Today, Thandi is a great-grandmother.

Safari conservation spans hands-on efforts such as saving poached rhinos, collaring and monitoring wild dogs, cheetahs, and lions, and restoring land to its natural wild state.
Every safari that we create directly supports these initiatives – proving that responsible tourism is one of the most powerful forces in conservation.
But land and wildlife aren’t the only ones affected by tourism – people are the heartbeat of Africa. Nearly every lodge we work with has a dedicated foundation supporting local schools, healthcare, and community empowerment.
From funding education to creating sustainable jobs, your safari directly uplifts the communities that make these wild places so special.
With co-founder Laura having served in the Peace Corps in rural South Africa for three years, ensuring that our safaris leave a lasting, positive impact on both wildlife and local communities is deeply personal to us.
